Career:
Career: Having grown up in New Zealand, Cahill has spent the past three years with the Sydney Roosters, playing largely for feeder club Newtown. He made his representative debut this year with a berth in the NZ Maori side that opened last year’s World Cup.Unheralded Cahill arrived for pre-season training in Melbourne last season and made an immediate impression, with coaching staff, including Craig Bellamy, labeling him the best pure athlete they had seen. His hard work paying off, with Bellamy handing him the workhorse back-rower a prized NRL debut against Cronulla in round 20.
Preview: Cahill will get the opportunity to advance his game further with another off-season spent under some of the best minds in the game. The hard-working back-rower, who can also play lock, has impressed plenty at the Storm with his enthusiastic attitude. He has the potential to become a full-time fixture in the NRL squad.
