The Association is owned by the student membership and governed by the annual student elect. The organisation provides support to students through advocacy and social outlets.
The Association provides:
• An independent voice for students as and when the need arises.
• Representation to each level of EIT including the top echelon at Council, the Government, and other external organisations.
• Advice and assistance on or about internal and external support services.
The lighter side of student life includes:
• A week long orientation introduction to student life at the start of both semesters
• Getting to know your fellow students at a variety of fun events both on and off campus
• Playing sports socially at the Pettigrew Green Arena, in the local competitions, and at annual national student sports and events
